I'm Barbara or just Bee as most people call me online. I'm married and have 3 boys (30, 27 and 25). I work in São Paulo (2nd largest city in the world) but escape, to breathe, hug trees, walk with my dogs or swim whenever possible, either to the countryside or to the coast where my parents live. I am Brazilian, of Polish descent and my husband is Belgian so Polish is my mother tongue, Portuguese my second language and I am fluent in English and French. As my eldest son is now living in Barcelona and his girlfriend is Catalan, I'd better start learning two more :-)
I have been involved in international projects online since 1997 and am member of the Webheads in Action, Tesol CALL, Cyberlangues and Braztesol. I am also the coordinator for the Braz-Tesol EduTech SIG
