Yesterday at school I was thinking that the kids could prepare an interactive game of their own country and places for their colleagues in other countries. They could use maps, sound, tags and photographs licensed CC in Flickr (maybe 43Places as well). Any ideas on how we could put this into practice?

A series of HTML pages stacked in a multiple choice format with only one of the choices routing to the map/sound clp/whatever could be built with relative ease by the students.
Have you thought about using presentation software such as OpenOffice Impress or PowerPoint as the tool and then exporting their results to HTML?
Hi Barbara,
You may want to see what Jean-Claude Bradley form Drexel is doing at EduFrag. They use the Unreal Tournament game "shell" to engage students in the classroom. It's pretty cool stuff. Good luck!
