Spacecast is a real-time meeting being broadcast live from the Worldbridges Studio in Virginia, USA. Students and Teachers participating in the mapping project, the middle school elgg, Personal Learning Space, and the high school elgg, Youth Voices, will meet to discuss current events, invite special guests and experts to interview, and get a chance to get to know one another.

Lee Baber will host the broadcast but each class will have a student host or hosts to represent their group each week. Last year, the Spacecast crew had some exciting visitors and an overall exciting time as they learned the ropes of webcasting.

Join us in this community as the teachers plan and discuss ideas on student webcasting, live global interaction, extended classrooms, and how we will tie the webcast in with the student elggs and mapping community.
