A teacher at my school and myself are trying to do one of the student portfolios on the Elgg. Now I'm really just using it as blogging software. Am happy to use it with thought that it could lead to something more even without yet knowing what that something more might be. In the meantime though we hope to model putting the portfolio on line for other advisors. The portfolio is called My Future. We hope to get students to do a community walk map which shows the colleges they are interested in going to do and then add other entries that would show their research on possible career choices and other post high school issues. Would also like to put up their resume (tho not sure that that should be out there for public). My immediate issue is that I can't get Iframes to work with the Elgg software nor was I able to get it to work with my version of WordPress but I was able to get it to work with the old Manila blog. In Manila it looks like this, in the Elgg it looks like this and in WordPress it looks like this. The Manila blog is what I want - anyone know how to do same with Elgg or that it just can't be done?

will check different versions of Elgg. thanks, r
