Who am I?

I teacher and trainer in the real estate and property industry NSW Australia. I primarily work out of the Open Training Education Network. OTEN is the distance education provider for TAFE NSW. We deliver our courses primarily in print or CD form and offer online support to students. We "sparingly" use the Janison LMS and offer a few small courses via a Web 1.0 style sites. Having a strong computing background, I tend to look after the computing subjects and enjoy getting students involved in productively using their computers in theri business life.
I am currently managing a LearnScope project which is a teacher professional development program called Blog2Blog ConnecTVETy. This project is exploring the "creation of online communities amongst distance ed students" Its focus is 15-19 year old disengaged learners. Typically they students are doing a VET course as part of their HSC and studying through OTEN.
